I used Prisma color pencils to color this flower and used Copic blending solution to blend the colors. My inspiration for this card comes from "
Coloring Techniques for Card Making", by Annie's Attic. (page 13) The artist of the card in this magazine is Asela Hopkins. I followed the design according to the directions; the only thing different that I did was to use paper that I had available and I used ribbon instead of rickrack and I omitted the pearls. I had lots of fun coloring the hydrangea and I plan on using this stamp more often.
This book shows you three of the most popular coloring techniques in card making: watercolors, colored pencils and alcohol-based ink markers. Plus, it contains lots of projects with step-by-step directions.
The stamps used are Hero Arts: Hydrangea
K5376.
