Yesterday (Day 8), on the CAS online card class, Jennifer Mcguire showed us how to do the "Mirrior Image" technique. Before I stamped my birds on my paper, I practiced the technique on scrap paper. (I stamped on the plastic for a very long time before I was satisfied with the results.) I tried stamping the image on the back of a clear stamp, but I didn't get a very good impression. Then I tried using a piece of vellum, but I still didn't get a good impression. So, I used a clear sheet of plastic packaging and that worked very well. After I traced over the image with a black copic marker my image looked like it had been stamped in the normal way. This is a cool technique and I had fun experimenting to get the results that I wanted. The stamps that I used are Hero Arts: Hugs & Kisses Birds CG155 and Paris CL325. This is all for now and will be back again soon. Thanks for stopping by and I appreciate the comments.

Great card Sue! These little birdies are too cute and you lined them up perfectly.
Great results from your experimenting, Sue! Jennifer made this look so easy; but I'm afraid I would lose patience with the whole technique. Guess I'm getting lazy in my old age :)
Well Done Sue, it looks wonderful, I have tried this technique myself and had the same issues, I have not tried it since!
Smiles:)
I haven't been able to try this technique yet. You got great results, Sue!!
Thanks for sharing what worked best for you Sue! I will have to give this a try! Your card is really sweet - love the kissing couple!
Hi, Sue! Have a great time visiting your family here in Ohio!! Do they live anywhere near Canton??? If so, it would be neat to meet you in person. Just sayin'!
That is just such a sweet image Sue! And you got that technique down pat! Gorgeous colours!
