Around the World Challenge #3 -- Mexico

This is my version of this weeks challenge that is happening at Vicky's blog. Using these particular colors together is something that I would not normally do. Using bold and bright colors usually take me a little out of my comfort zone. I actually had fun creating this card and I felt as though that I was in my own little world and I did not have a care in the world. I was totally comfortable and relaxed making this card. I studied the picture a little to see what I could pull from it and I noticed that the girl in the picture has red and yellow flowers in her hair and that was an inspiration to have flowers
for the main point of the card. I felt that the flowers that I chose were perfect for red and yellow. The stamps that I used are Hero Arts: Cleardesign Stamp A Garden CL379, Flourish Background CG119, Dots and Flowers S5213, and Cleardesign Birthday messages CL139. I stamped the scalled part of the card with the dots and flowers stamp in mustard seed distress ink as I wanted yellow to show up on the red paper, but it turned out more tan than yellow. (The dots and flowers image shows up better in real life.)
Thanks for stopping by.

Love your card, the bold primary colors were fun to work with weren't they? Love the flourish stamp you used.
