I have wanted to make a card that I could enter into the Make it Monday challenge that is sponsored by papertreyink.com. It has taken me about 4 days to finally sit down and create my card. To learn of the details of this contest, please click here. I am also entering this card in the Hero Arts flickr group for the February2011B challenge. The stamps that I used are Hero Arts: Friends CL351, thoughtful Messages CL184, Envelope Pattern S5507. I stamped the sentiments with warm red chalk inks by color box.
This was a fun card to make and I was very surprised at myself that it did not take me two days to figure out how I wanted my card to look. Everything came together very quickly and I like it when that happens. Normally, I over think what I want to do and therefore, that causes me to take way to much time to come up with a design.Thanks for stopping by and I appreciate the comments. You're not alone when it comes to over thinking a card! I am so guilty of that! But I love how your card turned out Sue! Love the pink plaid piece behind the centre panel! Lovely!
