Wintery Thank You Card

Hello Everyone,

This is a quick post and I am entering this card in the Hero Arts Flickr Group challenge. I wanted to post one more card before I leave for our Christmas holiday. I wanted this thank you card to have a winter theme. I used glossy accents on the base of the globe and also on the snow man’s jacket, scarf, mittens, and brim on his hat. I the shine is hard to see on camera. I used a white pop corn pen to make the snow. For information on the pen, please check here. I embossed the snow flakes with white embossing powder and then distressed the background with broken china and tumbled glass distressing inks. The sentiment is embossed with white embossing powder on clear vellum.

Stamps used are Hero Arts: Snow Globe CG235, Four Snow Flakes (set of 4) CG210, Essential Messages CL371.

Thanks for stopping by and I appreciate the comments. Have a Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year!
